Pilates has been taking the world by storm since it entred fitness centers more than 10 years ago. Originally developed by Joseph Pilates, it has proved itself not only as a new fitness endevour, but as an invaluable way of correcting body posture and alignment, aleviating back problems and others. It's main principles - concentration, centering, breathing and correct technique among others will contribute to a good holistic body/mind workout.
As instructors you will learn:
- body anatomy and physiology;
- what Pilates is all about;
- methods of teaching and correct cuing;
- specific programs for beginners, intermediate and advanced;
- how to work with individual clients;
- how to make a postural anlysis of your clients;
- how to create the necessary atmosphere, etc.
